Doreen retired after twenty years in teaching and took a two year writing course. She has always been interested in writing, making up stories for the children she taught. She started the writing group with Mike Emery, a teaching colleague, and is very serious about her writing. She is still waiting to hit the ‘big time’ in being published. Apart from writing Doreen belongs to several clubs and is an avid crime reader. Her favourite author is John Grisham.
